For roughly 15 issues over 5 years, LipService was edited by Peter Marshall. In later issues he concentrated on it as a web magazine, often including much material that could not be published in the print version, including work in colour.
The last issue he edited was September 1999, after which he resigned to give himself more time for his other writing on-line at About Photography (his work for that site is no longer on line, and he now blogs at >Re:PHOTO. Since then LipService has been produced as a print magazine under new editors, and has now changed its name to the 'Journal of London Independent Photography.'
